When we meet (not sure when) I will have to share with you how I cook rice and the kisoorie I make with basmati, red lentils, onion, salt and turmeric - the ultimate comfort food from my childhood. Rice is a huge part of my marriage 🤣

I grew up on rice - in Penang and Ipoh, Malaysia and can't even say the word in my head without a longing. I have a rice pudding I made yesterday JUST FOR ME that I can't wait to tuck into at lunchtime. I use extra cream and butter to negate the school experience.
